Ancestor:Descendants:

The tropical carnofern split from its ancestor and has moved to the Barlowe Tropical Rainforest. Its leaves became wider to absorb more sunlight since the obsidibomb was hogging up much of the sunlight. Like its ancestor, the tropical carnofern has flowers that produce pollen and nectar so the xenobees can pollinate it. After it has been pollinated successfully, it produces red fruit which has seeds inside so when frugivores eat it, the seeds spread within their excrement. Since there are no herbivores, its population multiplied greatly. That doesn't mean it isn't vulnerable to parasites. It doesn't need a cap anymore for winter since it doesn't snow in the Barlowe Tropical Rainforest.

Other than that, it looks like the same as its ancestor, but shorter.
