The woodenberry split from its ancestor and spread from Ittiz Beach into several other biomes. Its leaves are very fleshy and tough and its base is more or less wooden. This flora stores the majority of its water in its roots and wooden base. Its berries now are much smaller than its ancestors and have hooks instead of wings to latch onto fauna that brush their parent during foraging or just moving through the area.
