The capiraid has split from its ancestor. Due to being in direct competition with more capable herbivores, it was quickly out competed for most of its food. It was able to move across the Jujubee Ocean, into a world rich with possibilities. It has grown larger and its tail has adapted into an efficient fin. It is now the top herbivore in the waters of western Jujubee. It is abundant in most areas, but is very uncommon in the open ocean due to predators. To hide from predators, its skin has turned into a teal-blue color. This changes though, in mating season, when the males risk life and limb by changing their tails' color to bright orange in order to attract females.
