The cave zapper split from tis ancestor the bubblepede zapper. It is very much like its ancestor except it is adapted to the cave environment. Its coloring is purple and orange to blend in with the gateway bubbleweed and gateway shrub. It only eats the cave bubblepede. Its three-pronged head shocks prey like a cattle prod, thus paralyzing them for eating. It can also defend against predators with the prongs.
