Ancestor:Descendants:

The cryodome split from its ancestor, the glaalgae, and is now ten times larger. Cryodomes now grow in round domes to catch maximum sunlight. They use the same glass-like lenses as their ancestor, making the ground where they are present sparkle. Like their ancestors they are very efficient in getting nutrients from the ice and soil. They need very little nutrients to grow and can live on ice. They have been so successful, they have moved to other cold biomes.
