The herbivore urstar split from its ancestor and now feeds on flora. Its feeding spike is pointed to poke into the hydroglobes and suck out sap and soft tissue. The first pair of limbs are thick and powerful to dig into their food so they don't fall off and die, the spikes at the ends of the second pair of limbs point up the act as a type of pincer. Because it is in almost constant contact with the numballs it has developed an immunity against its paralyzing effect, also due to feeding on the symbioship hydroglobes it is immune to their sleeping effects.
