Ancestor:Descendants:

The symbioship plague has split from its ancestor, the boiling fever. It now infects mostly marine crystal flora within the tropical and temperate zones of the global oceans and beaches. It first started to infect and kill off symbioship diamiboard but then spread to all types of crystal flora.

It is a deadly disease that infects the red fungus-like parts of the host. It basically dehydrates the cells until they cannot function anymore. This is very ironic since many of the are completely submerged in water while this happens. In order to get past the symbioships defenses it developed a thicker cell membrane to prevent it from becoming dissolved. Some still do but their numbers overwhelm the host. They also have evolved more flagellum to help them swim faster.

This disease was so deadly that it not only cause all its hosts to become extinct but it to become extinct as well. The following species have become extinct due to the lack of crystal flora in the ecosystem; symbioship hydroglobes, symbioship rewolf, symbioship humm, symbioship shrubite, symbioship numballs, spiny castrum, symbioship currybug, herbivore urstar, symbioship urstar, symbioship gilltail, symbioship ironroot, symbioship foi, crystal gilltail, sail gillfin, pick gilltail, coastworm lancer, korystal gilltail, seacrystal gilltail, coastsnapper, symbiofortress rustballs, shipwreck stickyglobe, round currybug, korystal currybug, crystank walker, crystank flasprout, calflash, crystal scuttlecrab, crystalworm, hammertoe, flash currybug, furious limbless and beach crystalplaque.
