The pagoda crystal split from its ancestor and moved out of the cave system. It is shorter than its ancestor but makes up for this by having any more terraces. The underside of each terrace is where spores are created and can not photosynthesize. They no longer grow in water and now use the wind to facilitate fertilization. Other than these things they are the same as their ancestors.
