Ancestor:Descendants:

The poison armororm has developed a better defense from it's ancestor, the winged armororm. When provoked, they release an enzyme that attacks the nervous system, causing spasms and paralysis. They are brightly colored and their tails are now bioluminescent in order to warn predators to stay away. Their wings have become fleshy, allowing them to use them as fins. Other than this they are the same as their ancestors. It replaced it's ancestor in most biomes, but couldn't move into the twilight zone because it's coloration would be useless.
