Ancestor:Descendants:

Splitting from its ancestor, the winged armororm has grown bigger and developed greater mobility. With wing-like extensions granting it stability, and a more developed tail, it is capable of maneuvering itself with greater efficiency as it moves about in schools numbering in the billions. These large numbers help them to survive as they are a sought after food source in the briny deep. They now release massive amounts of spores into water, from which innumerable young will feed along the bottom before joining the swarms that swim above them.

The larvae will feed on detritus and various bottom-dwelling cells. When they mature they will strain the water for microbial life.
