The quadcryotower replaced its ancestor, the cryo tower. Its cells have quadrupled making a cylindrical shape. The bottom cells kept their flagellums which now work like primitive roots, anchoring it into the ice and bring up water and nutrients. The top cells have made a primitive photosynthetic stem which has a very thick chitinous fungi-like cell wall which keeps it ridged. They need very little nutrients to grow and can live on ice.
