Ancestor:Descendants:

The rapidclaw replaced its ancestor, the antlerclaw on the Flisch Savanna. It has gotten smaller and faster. It can outrun the wolf shrew and axe-slicer, which are its main predators. Its antler-claws have gotten more horn-like and are used for defense as well as fighting for a mate. Males have very long antler-claws while the females' resemble the forest dwellers' claws. As you can see, they can still change colors to match their surroundings, but use it for social communications. Their nails and horns can also change colors since they are made of the same color changing scale material, but not as well. Their nails have developed into hoofs to better grip the ground when running.
