The stygimoulper split from the dome-headed gulper. It has given up life on the savanna for life in Yokto Rocky. It has also changed from an insectivore to a herbivore since Yokto Rocky has no "insects". To keep stable on the rocky terrain it has developed hoofs. Its coloring and dome have also changed a bit as the species separated from its ancestors. This species prefers small spikes on the edge of the dome and striped legs. The dome-head is used by males to fight for mates like Earth's rams. Its "wooden bones" have improved even more with a stronger spine and legs. It uses it tongue for smelling like its ancestor and will use it to "sniff" out for predators that might eat it like the shruma or azelak scavenger.
