Ancestor:Descendants:

The temperate spade-leaf is an off-shoot of the tundra grass. Some tundra grass began to grow in the Huggs Temperate Forest, a once heavily populated biome, as well as the Krakow Plains and Rocky. It now just grows four spade-shaped leaves. The stalk bears four fruit. Within the fruit are hard seeds. The seeds can be dispersed through the wind, or through the digestive tracts of fauna. Like its ancestor, the temperate spade-leaf has a bulb that stores energy and produces anti-freeze during the winter.
