The fluneinzee replaced its ancestor. It has expanded its range to all forest biomes on Eastern Darwin, following its preferred home-flora, the fruiting grovecrystal.
Its arms have grown longer and more muscular, to aid in climbing. It has become smaller, lighter, and more agile. A random mutation has spread the spiked plates from its back along its arms. These spikes help it grip the sides of flora better, and can be used defensively against the many other dangerous 'Flunes.
It prefers kruggs as its main foodsource, though it is no above grabbing a few verdiundis for a quick snack. It feeds primarily on climbing species of krugg, though it will climb down to feed on ground-based Kruggs if food is hard to find. It has developed a mutualistic relationship with the rainforest phlock, picking off the parasitic larvae of the corkscrew krugg. Other than these changes, it is the same as its ancestor.
