The ghost crystal split from the gateway shrub. Its spores traveled deep in the back of sea cave finding its way into the water tables of glicker. Each of these water tables is connected to each other as well as the caves above.
Over time it lost the ability to photosynthesis and complete depends upon the lithovore microbes for food. Its pigment was no longer needed in the dark water table so they now appear as transparent crystals. With no predators they lost the need to produce poison and thrive in this untapped biome.
