Ancestor:Descendants:

The krakow glasseater replaced its ancestor in Krakow. It has spread to all areas of the island, where it lives as a large grazer. It has gotten bigger to better retain heat, and due to the abundance of food in its habitat. Its jaw has developed a shovel-like shape, allowing it to scoop up glaalgae-rich dirt. Its nose-ear has grown into a partial shield for its eyes to help block the blinding sprays from cryocanons and their kin. It also has thicker eyelids to protect itself from both cryocanons and the strong winds of the polar regions.

Individuals graze in loose herds of 20, but all glasseaters migrate to the temperate beaches during springtime to mate and lay eggs in the warmer sands.
