Ancestor:Descendants:

The ninth shrubite split from its ancestor icicle shrubite. It has moved from South Polar Coast to Ninth Bay. It has thrived in the warmer waters and has even developed a more efficient filtration system. Water is brought in via filters in the spirals of its cone. Unlike their ancestors they do not need to hibernate and grow year round. As a result they now grow to twice the size as their ancestor.
