Ancestor:Descendants:

Replacing its ancestor in the Artir Polar Coast, the protelareous has spread out towards the Jujubee Ocean. The protelareous has become an omnivore, giving itself a wider range of food sources. They have a blue color scheme, intended to keep them hidden from predators that hunt them. The gill pouches have also gained a blue pigment to hide better. The new color scheme also keeps them well hidden from prey, allowing them sneak up on the prey better.

Protelareouses usually travel in small packs of four, excluding the number of pups in the pack. They communicate using a series of flipper and tail movements. During the mating season in fall, the protelareouses will flock to nearby shores to find a mate. At this time most packs end up either splitting up and join or form other packs, or merge with another existing pack. Mating season is a dangerous time, as it will be easier for predators to find food. The pups stay with their mother for five years until venturing out to form or join a pack. Unlike the cornularians, the protelareous packs rarely ever fight. When they do, the fights consist of intimidating the opponent.
