The ringtail limbless replaced its ancestor and has since flourished in Barlowe. Spreading throughout the region, it feeds on small "invertebrates" as well as fallen fruit, which it has developed a taste for. Its coloration helps it to blend in with its surroundings, and it has re-evolved the ancestral tail spines of its lineage, though it now merely uses them for defense by waving its tail menacingly should it be threatened. Females are smaller than males but tend to be far more numerous.
