Ancestor:Descendants:

The vivus dinarunner split from its ancestor the shipper buoyskin. Wandering along Elerd Temperate Coast, it found a niche on land in Vivus Taiga. Vast, clumsy herds of rainbow phlock provided a stable food source as long as they could find the herds. They spend less time in the water, mostly staying on the coast during mating season and to raise young. Young typically take several weeks to learn to hunt, joining the scrags in hunting prey within 2 months. Social behavior is the same as their ancestors, except they spend several of the warmest months of the year deep within Vivus Taiga following herds of rainbow phlock. The bubble scales are much less noticable other than the cluster on the back hump, evolved for balance while chasing prey. It has evolved more vivid coloration to blend in with the tripcrystals it hides in.
