Ancestor:Descendants:

The korystal gilltail replaced its ancestor, the koral gilltail, and has followed the korystal to all the tropical and temperate coastlines of Glicker. It has improved its camouflage even more and now has the patterns of the red crystals of the korystal on its fins and body. While they look crystal shaped, they are but an optical illusion and the fins and body are the same shape as their ancestor. It lives much like its ancestor in the surf zone waiting for high tide so it can eat the korystal. They must eat as much as they can before low tide comes. They lay their eggs in the sand to keep it hidden from predators.
