Ancestor:Descendants:

The symbioship gilltail split from its ancestor, the gilltail. They now eat the symbioship urstars and the symbioship hydroglobes. Their colors changed to allow them to blend in with the orange under belly of the symbioships. They are more stream-lined to fit in between the symbioship diaminets. In order to survive, they had to gain an immunity to the toxins of the symbioship numballs and the symbioship hydroglobes because they are so close to them and without it they would fall asleep and become easy prey for a hungry predator.
