Glacial Sauceback
The glacial sauceback split from its ancestor and moved on the Global Glacier. in order to reproduce they must still lay eggs in damp areas for the aquatic larva to survive. Thank fully they found the volcanic regions with plentiful liquid water and a lack of any predators.
The life cycle of the glacial sauceback revolves around these oases. The adults spend much of there lives on the glacier hunting the fauna found on the surface and occasionally following the scent of methane to a farming slipskunik colony where they break the roofs of the farm chambers to feast on the inhabitants.
Come breeding season how ever the saucebacks migrate to the volcanic oases where they will stay for a month mating and subsisting on a chitin rich diet of boiler glassdomes and their fruit.
The larva swim in the pools and streams until metamorphosis at which point they emerge to gorge again on the glassdomes and their fruit using the chitin to rapidly build their skeletons.
