The tumorflora replaced its ancestor, the seadisk in Scifi Polar Shallows. After the solar flare the seadisk was exposed to high level of UV radiation which caused major mutations resulting not only in island gigantism but very quick and aggressive growth. It now quickly grows on top of all other flora and smothers them. Once smothered it now absorbed the rotting flora matter thus making it spread even faster. This has caused chaos in the Scifi Polar Shallows causing devastation wherever it grows. It is so successful it covers the entire shallows in a gigantic sheet of purple. The presence of it has caused for diversity to drop significantly. As a result it has caused the following species to become extinct in Scifi Polar Shallows; basillimat, twinkiiro, seascooter, marine tuffdra, wading leafshell, sandglobe, marine bubbleweed, marine bubblepede, marine shocker, marine crystal, marine gilltail, marine droopgea, marine finworm, marine urpoi, marine shrubite, greengill, burrarom, sea cural, spotted hydroglobe, nectascooter, lurehum, marine mine layer, polar hummroot, oceanic false-larval sauceback, colonial trapinout, surge gilltail, swift hookphlyer, crevice tuff, mini pukai, thorny twinkiiro, sealid and hyperphallic burrarom.
