Ancestor:Descendants:

The azzy replaced its ancestor, the azelak scavenger. It lives much like its ancestor but has a highly expanded range. There are some changes from its ancestor such as the six eyes are now two compound eyes, their front claws are shorter and stronger, and they have lost the ability to change colors. They still have a storage hump for lean times and are warm-blooded. It has subspecies which look slightly different. The one shown is an alpine subspecies which has long shaggy fur while the marsh subspecies has short fur. It uses its front claws like an icepick in the mountains while in the forest it uses it to crack open crystal flora. In the winter all the species will grow longer fur to keep warm. They are very opportunistic and will eat just about anything they can digest. They have a mild temper but tend to just go about their business peacefully.

These are randomly selected, and organized from lowest to highest shared taxon. (This may correspond to similarity more than actual relation)
